Oh yum. That is certainly my idea of comfort food. Maybe I can make that one night soon and DH can just fend for himself.  :P

That sesame chicken was amazing! And it's pretty healthy, too. Here's a link for the recipe if anyone wants to try it out. It's very sweet, so I tried adding a bit of cayenne pepper, but there still wasn't any heat at all. I'd recommend adding a fresh red chili or some crushed red chiles to it to balance the sweetness with a bit of heat:

DH really loved this, and he isn't a big fan of stir fries or Chinese. I will definitely add this to my rotation of dishes to make again, since it was so tasty and easy!

Awesome! Thanks!!! I'm going to give this a try. Chicken and broccoli is my favorite Chinese meal. Do you think maybe it should be 2 tbsp honey instead of 3?

Roast chicken, mac and cheese, stewed tomatoes, and brownies.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

uggh, I lied...  guess I accidentally shut off my crockpot while going out the door this morning- I was roasting a chicken - so I wasted a whole chicken (poor chicken :-( ) and I had no dinner ready :-(

I was sooooo looking forward to my chicken roast after my 12 hour work day  :\\\'(

So a quick veggie stir-fry for me

A dish called summer pork chops and potatoes and I've put in some other veggies to roast.

Well if I get out of this stupid work meeting before 9 pm, I'm going to have a
whole grilled trout stuffed with fennel, lemon, garlic, and a side of green beans

But if I'm stuck here for another couple of hours, it will be easy like quorn cottage pie, or cereal/porridge/toast
