Sounds lovely!  :D

We ended up having an English breakfast last night because DH was feeling a bit sickly and the weather was crap today, so we never had our barbecue. But I roasted the yoghurt and garlic marinated chicken breasts and made a very tasty chicken salad with feta cheese and rocket and a lemon-mayo dressing with some spices and rolled them up in the Mediterranean Herb wraps. I had mine with grapes on the side, DH had chips.  :P That's my chip man!

I'm really hoping the pork chops can marinate another day and go in the oven tomorrow since things haven't gone according to plan.  :-\\\\

Ha ha! Now I feel gross from the weekend gluttony.

Sorry your DH wasn't feeling great: maybe it was it the Champix?

Have to say, yoghurt and garlic marinated chicken breasts and chicken salad with feta cheese and rocket and a lemon-mayo dressing with some spices and rolled up in the Mediterranean Herb wraps, minus the meat for me, sounds tasty!

First day back to work after our week off and we probably won't feel like cooking, so most likely veggie chili from the freezer.

We're doing the freezer thing tonight as well - veggie spag bol.

Yeah, I think it was really just smoking on the Champix. It gets a bit sickly toward the end, but you still kind of want to because of the habit. It should get better now that we have finally stopped smoking.  :)

Those chicken salad wraps were so good we are having the leftovers for lunch today! Yum! I will definitely make it again. I bet you could do something similar with Quorn stuff or tofu, though the marinade might not work. But you could maybe just mix a bit of yoghurt and garlic into the mayo and add lemon juice and oregano and cracked black pepper (that's what I added) and then mix in the feta and rocket.  ;)

Tonight I hope its pork chops with roasted rosemary red potatoes and steamed green beans. The pork chops have been marinating in the fridge for 2 days, so I hope they are still good.

I have been told by Mr MLG that quorn / tofu doesn't marinade as deeply, but it works..... :)

I found some curry sauce in the freezer (recipe from The Curry Secret) so we are having aloo gobi.

ETA: Since the gobi was a bit rotten  :-X we are having chana aloo instead.

Chicken risotto with the leftover chicken and stock I made from our Sunday roast.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

By the way, where did you get the brisket? I never see them in the supermarkets. I take it you have to go to the butcher and ask for one?  ???
