American-  I think it's a New England thing to call a macaroni/beef/pepper/onion/tomato sauce American Chop Suey?
I used to make that ages ago (before I was veggie) and called it goulash!  I could make it still with veggie mince, sounds pretty good!

We always called this, 'Slum-gall-ion' (sp?). I have absolutely no idea where that name came from, but my mom made it a lot growing up!

I'd probably add some chilies & call it chili mac!  ;D

We had roast chicken last night, with roast potatoes, carrots & steamed courgette.  Today I've got to make chicken broth from that.

And I think DH is making some kind of beef stewie thing (from our new Jamie Oliver book about Spain, France, Morocco, Sweden, etc...) so no idea what exactly that's going to be.  The meat was marinating overnight.
