A big bowl of carbs
Spinach pasta and peas with some olive oil and parmesan cheese mixed in

I think were either having pork chops or skinless chicken breasts either of them will be done on the GF grill, for sides I'm having a baked sweet tater, & some steamed veggies I think Dh will have some steamed rice & possibly some other side dish.  ;)  :)

Change of plans were having spaghetti with wholewheat pasta instead.

I made a modification of this recipe from Ching-He Huang's Chinese Food Made Easy

Instead of chicken I used firm tofu, instead of egg noodles I used rice noodles, instead of beansprouts, I used mangetout and I used a combination of shitakes and oyster mushrooms, and I added in brocolli and baby leeks as well.

It was so good! And I have leftovers for lunch!
Thanks I will check it out!

A lovely Sunday roast dinner. Pork roast with crackling, roasted potatoes, roasted roasted parsnips, roasted carrots, and cabbage. Dessert will be strawberries and cream. The house smells lovely right now and I can't wait to dig in!
Let them eat cupcakes!

Sunday roast here as well, but a chicken instead.  :)

Hubby is taking me out to dinner so we can have a nice dinner TOGETHER before he is gone for 2 weeks ;-)
I may ask to get Indian in though since I am not feeling well and spicy food always helps

Hope you feel better!

We had some sausages with mash, homemade onion and pepper gravy, and some roasted sweet potatoes. Yummy!

DD specifically asked for spaghetti, turkey meatballs & sauce and she nearly cleared her plate...I love that she is old enough and verbal enough to tell me what she wants.

Feel better Jenn!

We had takeaway pizza.  I think either homemade or takeaway pizza is going to become a Sunday tradition here.   ;D

We are definitely having a beet, goat cheese and candied walnut salad with honey-balsamic dressing. Not sure if DH is going to force me to make some meat on the side or not, but I'd rather just go with the salad, I think.  ;)
