Some amazing steaks from the Farmer's market that were organic/free range, they tasted almost gamey so much flavour mmmm.
Spinach sauteed with EVOO and shallots/garlic
Triple cooked chips! I am so converted to this method, we have them so rarely (chips that is) it's so worth the effort.

I still can't taste on my left side, but my right side is working now :)

Ok, I'll bite... what's the triple cooked chips method?  :)

Well I was supposed to go out tonight with one of my vendors for what I'm sure would have been an exceptional meal.
However given that I'm off work today ill - that's not happening.

But my fever finally broke this afternoon and I have a bit of an appetite back- so I am having a peanut butter & honey sandwich
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

Baked salmon with brown lentils and maybe some brussel sprouts that I need to use up.

I'm making an adzuki bean and squash stew like I used to have at my old work.  I'm hoping hubby won't think it's bland as it's sort of semi-Japanese, semi-macrobiotic and he's used to me cooking much more spicy things.

Slow-cooked lamb with roasted winter veg and sweet potato mash.  It's the first time I've made it in the crock-pot, so I am hoping it turns out okay.  Smells nice, but it was a really cheap joint.  Fingers crossed.  I also made a sugar cookie variation which turned out a bit weird.

I think left over spag bol.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Leftover chili from last night.  It turned out really well so I'm very much looking forward to it!

Yum! But yeah, it looks a bit faffy.  :P

We had some seriously delicious sausage and mash with homemade onion gravy which I slow cooked. Mmm. That, and a pint of Guinness, were perfect for such a dreary day!

Hot and spicy marinated chicken legs, rice, and peas. All cooked in the steamer! I was hesitant about the chicken, but it came out really tender and tasty. :)
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!
