Probably a sandwich from M&S or something since I'm going to a talk in town tonight and will miss dinner at home.  :-\\\\

My mystery stew was a flop last night. :P Tonight it's probably frozen pizzas as I have to go out.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

It's definitely soup weather. And because I'm feeling a bit rundown, it'll be something easy - either leek & potato, or sweet potato & coconut (the latter is THE easiest soup ever - fry some onions, add cubed sweet potatoes, throw in a can of coconut milk, and when the spuds are soft, wizz. Done!).

Edit: fry, not "fly" typo!

Oh my, that sounds SOOO good! I have all of those things in the kitchen, too. I may have to give that a try this weekend. Thanks!

Mmmmm, sounds good!

I thought it was his best tagine yet - but that's because it was spicier with some harissa in it!  :)

I don't know. We need to do a big shop but won't until tomorrow or Sunday. I think I'm going to the library today to pick up some cookbooks and try to get inspired.

A homemade curry with chicken, chard & potatoes (sort of like saag aloo but with chard), and basmati rice.  I'll make it like what I call 'Sri Lankan style' - with yoghurt and coconut cream, but also a bit hot & spicy too!
