Recipe please? I love black beans and with bacon how could you go wrong!

Well, we didn't make it tonight - we had the potatoes. But when we do make it, it's not an exact recipe... fry up some bacon, garlic and onions, throw them in the crock pot with a couple large cans of black beans. Add chicken stock or veggie stock, add cumin, oregano, chili powder and any other spices/herbs you want and simmer for the day. :)

Mmm. Sounds good and it's a crock pot recipe! I love slow cooking.

You're welcome! You can also add finely chopped carrots and celery to increase the veg if you want.

That's some willpower shugga!  Hope you don't feel all bloated and heavy after - I usually do after I've been eating healthy and then eat something heavy/greasy like that  :)

I'm having pork tenderloin medallions, warm apple-cranberry compote, brown rice, brussels sprouts and carrots for dinner tonight
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

Pizza night tonight at our house.  But it's never all that unhealthy because we have it with a big bowl of steamed veggies.
