Fettucini Alfredo. I've made extra so I can take it to work. Yum.

YUMMY! Do you make from a recipe or is it redi-made? I love it especially with spinach and chicken in it. The Olive Garden used to have it and it was called Chicken Florantine. my favourite!!

I make it from scratch. Jon likes it but I tend to make it too creamy sometimes.

Thanks Aimiloo!  What time is dinner?  I'm sure I have enough time to get on the train & get down to your house in London for the evening. ;)

Aimiloo,

Would you mind having a couple of servings delivered by courier to Hove? I have brie and olives, so you wouldn't have to supply those... :)

if i had my nana for one more day, i'd spend that day making fresh pasta with her and chatting.

i so miss her, and only wish we had one more day, one more hour together.  i remember being a kid and going to her house and seeing flour everywhere and the smells of the kitchen.  i used to bury my head in her lap when she had her apron still on and i'd be covered in vanilla and semolina...

*sigh*  good memories

And what to drink, Aimiloo?  Cocktails with the pre-dinner nibbles?  Wine with the mains?

(I can bring my martini pitcher & glasses if you want to borrow?)

Amy, I can come, Richard is still recovering and besides he hates pretty much everything you are having (Trust me I know, I married a crazy person!)

I think she's going to have to auction off the extra place at the table on Ebay!  Might be a nice little side income, heh?
