Last night was cereal and toast...after meetings all day long (from 8:00am until 5:30pm...with only two breaks and lunch) I just couldn't be bothered to cook...but I did put together a great salad for lunch (instead of lunch at school)!

Made the BEST dinner last night and since we'll be on the M1 and eating nasty fast food (or hopefully subway if i find the time to get it after work) i'm gonna share.

it was so freaking simple. I sliced some flank steak i got at costco (it was about 8 pounds for a HUGE bit-i cut and froze 5 sections of it, in portions of 2!) and marinated it for an hour in (these are approx. measures): 1tsp honey, 1 tsp olive oil, 2 TBSP lee and perrins worchester and tomato sauce, 3 crushed carlic cloves, 2 TBSP soy sauce and a few dashes of chinese seasoning (got from the states as a blend).

I put the strips on the 'health grill' and served with white rice with a tad bit of butter and salt and a salad dressed wit olive oil and a bit of raspberry vinegar.

Heaven.  Can't wait to make again!

Well - if Simon's plane ever arrives (he's delayed in London by two hours waiting for incoming aircraft) we will have dinner here at my place tonight.  Salmon with orange honey glaze, wild rice blend, french greenbeans with garlic, and a nice chardonay.

Or I may just tuck him in and tell him to sleep.           Nahhhh....   ;)

Congratulations Stacey and Rich!  ;D Happy 1 year anniversary!

I'm by myself now until Thurs and usually have something silly like popcorn for dinner when that happens!  ;) But we picked up some great veggies at a market yesterday so I'll be having an aubergine (eggplant), broccoli and mushroom stir fry tonight methinks!

Maybe some nice Mango for dessert  :D

Happy One Year!  You guys are great!

Last night bf & I had a cricket couple over for dinner - we made veggie samosas and a prawn curry.  YUMMY!  Tonight is steak!
