Hubby is cooking all this week as a gift to me.  Sunday was a simple pan-fried seabass with new potatoes & salad, Monday his scrummy Thai green curry, yesterday--lasagna which was very good but it was what I call 'British' lasagna which is interesting. He really outdid himself though because he made the lasagna sheets from scratch--actually handrolled them with a rolling pin & everything--I was incredulous! But no birthday cake (nor ANY dessert)! :( So I'm off to get my own cake today & eat it all myself too! (with ice cream) ;D ;D

Happy Birthday Carolyn!

I've stayed home from work today because of all the G8 protest crap that is happening in Edinburgh (and Stirling) today... cant be arsed fighting my way through all of that.  So i SHOULD be cooking something magnificent, since im home with time to kill.
BUT...  im afraid it's going to be a jar of Discovery Cheese & Hot Pepper sauce (which is very, very nice) with chicken, over rice.
