CV - Truth in advertising?
« on: April 05, 2005, 02:13:57 PM »
Know what I hate, hate, HATE about doing a CV -- trying to think up the 'Goal' or 'Career Objective' that I guess is expected at the top (I usually just leave it off).  I don't know how many times I've been tempted to just be painfully honest.

Career Objective:  I am looking for a somewhat tolerable occupation that doesn't involve much hard work and is extremely financially rewarding.

Carolyn ;D

Mine says:  I'm looking for a job that doesn't require me to ever be in the office or deal with idiots.  Minimum salary requirement is £147K p.a.   ;D

Yay me!  I finally got my CV overhauled (4th or 5th time now) & send off to the recruitment agency.  Ugh - I hate job hunting.
