I voted for 3x a year but mostly because this May is a very very tight month for us and my sister is coming to visit at the end of the month and will no doubt suck me dry of every penny I have saved! Anytime after May is OK with me.

I just thought I'd give this a bump, in case anybody missed it last week....

Although there are a few more days left on the poll, it already looks like the vast majority would like to do the swap three times a year.

I've enjoyed doing this so far and by no means want it to fizzle out.  We've already devoured all the goodies in the package I received (and I'm still waiting on my other one).

I just think it's important that the swap works well with everybody's budget and the long delivery time for packages.

Based on the result (we are a democracy, right?), I recommend that we adopt the three times per year schedule and post the next packages out in June.

Sounds good to me, Kellie! Is that the first week of June? And will you give us our Food Swap buddy assignments?

Hello all. I would like to participate in June as well. :)

Hi, Belindaloo.  Sorry for the tardy reply...

I would say yes, mail the packages the first week of June, as it will be the first week of every month we swap.

For the assignments, may I suggest that if you and your buddy are both continuing to participate, that we keep all buddies the same?

If you are somebody who is continuing, but your buddy has chosen to retire from the program, then we will make new matches with new participants?

If everybody is ok with that, in another couple of weeks, I'll put together the new list.

Thanks everybody!

I was partnered with Marsbar last time and am happy to continue ... but I'm not sure if she wants to participate this time around. Can you find out?

What a great idea! I will particpate in June from the US.
But after that it has to be from the UK! (yea me!)

Ahh... But someone had to tell me what to do...

Yes! I offered to pair up with Britwife since I am in CA, and she agreed at the time. I think she's busy moving at the moment so that can be verified later. Those of us that are new are going to need instructions though! Looking forward to this! Sending packages of goodies is almost as fun as getting them! :)

I could be your buddy too if you want!  I'm from California and coming over in July.  How does this food swap work?

I still want to do it but will be moving at the end of the month so may be a little disorganised (ha who am I kidding? We'lll be a LOT disorganised!) in May but if someone doesn't mind getting their goodies a couple of weeks late then I'm still up for it. Well really it's my husband who wants most of the stuff. If there's anyone in California who wants to be my "buddy" that would be perfect, otherwise am sure you can get most of the things we would want pretty much anywhere.
