No, they didn't say anything about dinosaurs.  I just said dinosaur because I won't be able to watch if it's anything along those lines...dinosaur, alien, ghosts of pirates, giant robots, etc.  I just want a normal drama...no sci-fi!  ;)

Me, too!

Of all the survivors, the only I'm really concerned about is the dog! Save the dog! Please don't let them decide to eat the dog!!!

Sci-fi is good; the unexplained is good; strange, weird, quirky, out of the norm is good!  But, this being said, I am an extreme fantasy/sci-fi fan - and proud of it.
I was born in the Summer and at Night...my mother named me AUTUMN DAWN.  True story.

Jamie's...beyond the stars and past eternity.

EMAIL or PM me for information about gigs or about booking me (solo gig) or the band.

I like out of the "norm," but just not out of the "believable"!

Me too!!! I was a huge fan of Twin Peaks and had no problem with dancing dwarfs and stuff, but I'm just really not keen on aliens, monsters, etc.

The vicious "thing" (LOL, dinosaur, whatever!) isn't solved yet 'cause something pulled the pilot out of the cockpit and made off with him. I think that's when I started getting a wee bit skeptical.

I'm VERY concerned about the dog too. Please don't eat the dog and please find something the dog can eat so no one turns on him for needing food!!!!

You are all very amusing to those of us who know what's going to happen.  ~~sits on hands~~

And, I guess I happen to find more believable than some.

However, there was one mistake last night - a blaring one, which my husband pointed out and I have tried to ignore.  They (the ones who saw the pilot being taken and eaten - or whatever), mentioned it to some of the others - the ones who weren't there and didn't know (after all, when Jack, Kate and Charlie went to find the cockpit and the transceiver, they came back and when asked if there were any survivors all they did was say no, they didn't tell anyone about the pilot) - anyway, they mentioned it (Charlie, I think it was), and no one batted an eye - as if they had been told.  That irked me a bit....but, I'll let it go.

I noticed that too - they originally told everyone else that there were no survivors, and then mentioned that the pilot had been killed or whatever. That was a BIG mistake - I'm amazed that a show with such attention to detail would have missed that....

I liked the fact that when someone on the telie said "VINCE" our dog perked up...he normally lies under the monitor.

Don't let Vince get eaten ..it's just gonna mess with our dog's head... :P

I thought dinosaur because the noise and jungle rustling was reminiscent of Jurassic Park. Sounds as if that may not be the case now *whew*.  When the polar bear was shot someone asked if it could have been what had taken the pilot (?) but the pseudo-English guy said it was a much larger version of the polar bear.

I was surprised someone mentioned Twin Peaks because the backgammon-guy was kind of Twin Peaks-esque.

Everyone in the States I've talked to about the show absolutely raves about it so I'm more than happy to stay with it!

the looks of the jungle and the creature sounds and movements put me in mind of Stephen King's The Langolier's...it did that...AND had to do with a plane...I also wondered, with my limited comprehension of where the Fiji's are located...if this may be in the Bermuda Triangle somewhere?

No way! WTF? I can hardly make out an accent and sometimes it's not there at all. Maybe the director did want an accent that was easily understandable to an American audience. Interesting.

He was a Hobbit in LOTR...he must be living in the US or something..his accents washed out or something...I'm sure I'll be corrected on this so I'll wait ... ;D

All I know is from IMDB... it says he was born and raised in Berlin. He moved to the UK when he was 12 and it looks like he just moved to LA two years ago.
