All I can compare it to is my mistake of reading too much about the Blair Witch Project before seeing it... prior to that, I couldn't wait, and bought into all the hype.  Then I read the part that says "don't read this if you have not seen the film" - and I was LIVID afterwards, and did not enjoy the film at all.

Exact same thing happened to me, Kuyperama. I didn't enjoy Blair Witch in the least ... not to mention that it made me feel seasick.  [smiley=bleck.gif]

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

HOLD ON PLEASE.

Is it time to start another thread.... that includes spoilers?  That some of us do NOT want to know?  Ala Harry Potter?

And can leave those of us here to discuss?  ;D

Yes it is but after watching the whole season it will make more sense.

OK-we can either start a new thread for Lost spoilers OR use the spoiler thing explained here:

But for everyone's enjoyment let's not discuss things you've read or seen before the rest of us who are trying to remain strong.   :)

I watched the behind the scenes show, Lost Revealed (or something like that), that was on E-4 last night.  Did anyone else see it?  I thought it gave a decently balanced approach on revealing some things but still not giving too much away.  It took a look into the main characters and interviewed the actors that play them.  Informative, but not too much.  What it did do was express the very Twilight Zone-ness of the show.  And, I guess, that is a decent comparison.  I think those who liked the Twilight Zone will continue to like and watch Lost...but, if you were never really caught up in that Rod Serling sort of brand of weirdness with a moral message you probably won't stick with Lost either....anyway...that's my thoughts at the mo. :)
