So any comments on Loch being able to walk?  I have to  say  they  tell the story in  a Good way.. totally   goes full circle and  the surprise at the end.. It is lovely the way it ties  together..  but...  DH was  having trouble with it.. I mean anyone who Has had a broken leg  for  about two months  knows you need therapy  to  use it again.. and  you have to keep exercising  the  other part of your leg or it gets  skinny..blah blah.. and this guy seems to have not walked in years..
I have an easier time suspending belief  than DH  but then I got to thinking.. I wonder if they are all dead..  since it seems to be the island of 'second chances'..  hhm..and that guy in the suit with the white trainers in the distance.. is he  their  'spirit guide'?  bringing yummy  Fox to the right place at the right time?   :o

celtic i TOTALLY AGREE.  It's killing me (and i shield my eyes every time you think it may come!!!)

i so agree with him being to walk after being in a wheelchair for 4 years.......it was strange.  then again, not too many normal things on the show!  :)

i cheated and watched 15 min of the next episode on E4 and know who the guy in the sneakers is...

but i do agree about it being the island of second changes!!!

I watched that Lost Revealed programme last week and thought some of the comments were interesting. Like they went over the leading "theories" that people have about what exactly is going on (the 2nd most popular, incidentally, was my theory) and then the director commented that public theorizing is probably more clever/interesting than what it really is.... Hmmm. I once read an interview with Michael Stipe who said that fans would send him what they thought were the lyrics to his songs and what they came up with was often better than what the lyrics actually were.... That amused me but it also made me sad 'cause I wanted the lyrics to be deep and that made me wonder if they really were.... Now I'm worried again, 'cause I have the feeling that my idea for Lost was too obvious, but it would make me happier than some (IMHO) lame supernatural explanation....  ;) Still, I'm trying to enjoy it for what it is so far.  :)

I choose to remain blissfully ignorant, and be led.
I love it.
I love that he could suddenly walk.  Hey, stranger things in life have happened, who's to say?  Individuals.  I am loving his personal storyline.

And, it is SUSPENDED BELIEF.  It's surreal.  It's fun, fascinating, and highly entertaining.  Ok, I'm a bit over the spoiled blonde, waiting to see what magical changes overcome her SOON... but otherwise...

Terry O'Quinn has always been one of my favourite actors... from 'All The Right Moves' to FBI Asst. Director Kendall!
(I think it's time to buy Season III of Alias for myself  ::) )

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the suspense and I have no problem with the surreal aspects to it. As I've said before, I'm a big fan of David Lynch, so I've got no issues with weird. I'm not a sci-fi sortta gal, so I could do without monsters and aliens, but that's just me. But I also get a big kick out of trying to figure stuff out. It's the Nancy Drew in me - I love a bit of mystery solving and conjecture....  :)

I was thinking that I'd perhaps lost interest in "Lost," but the John Locke ep sucked me right back in. The one after that -- the one focusing on Jack -- was OK, but the Locke episode was great! I know he probably couldn't have walked after four years, but I don't care! It's television! I'm with Kuyperama on the suspended belief thing. Let's have more!!! ;D

I think that is the one that pulled me in as well!  It was just so great!

And I'm wondering why his name is John Locke. Do you think that has any significance?

I think it all has significance, but I don't know what it is. ;D
