to be honest though, the cast was  getting  a  bit big. I think they needed  to  slim it back down  and  concentrate  on  the chosen few.

Just a heads up!  [smiley=gossip.gif] Tonight is the final two-hour episode of Season II of Lost! It goes from 10pm until midnight. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait! [smiley=dizzy2.gif]

So what did you think about the finale?  has it jumped the shark yet?

I'm totally still hooked...can't wait until season 3!  Raises more questions than answers, though.

It's jumped the shark. I'm beginnig to lose interest. It's Twin Peaks all over again. Very anti-climactic ending.

Dittos! [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] In fact, it's going to be so hard not to read what is going on before we get the program here in the UK.  :P

However, if you do want to follow it and pick up all kinds of tidbits, et al; here is a great place to go:

I have been waiting for ages to ask this question, as with being in the states I had to wait until the show aired in the UK. So if anyone knows I would be more than happy to find out.

My question is in the finale Walt and his dad (cannot remember his name) rode off in the boat. If the thing on the island is the cause of the plane crashing how could Walt and his dad follow a heading to safety, as the guy said, if all the gauges would have been fried by the thing in the island? I would have thought that in a case of the plane crashing, that anything with gauges would also be fired. I may just be confused by the whole electromagantic thing, but from what I understood this would happen.
