I thought Sunday's episode was really gripping stuff..  Locke's father was acting beyond evil.

Definitely.
I always cringe a bit when I see Paramedic Roy DeSoto acting so horrible!

is it just me projecting my love of hobbitty goodness, or did i actually read someplace that the creators of the show have said that charlie is the one character they will not kill off?

Oh my goodness. This week's episode of Lost? Just wow. Don't miss it on Sunday if you're in the UK. No spoilers, but you find out A LOT about the island, and there's such a cliff-hanger. Next week needs to hurry up.

Oh god, I hope they do him in - he is so annoying. (And he doesn't have a lot of nice things to say about Americans either IRL...)  ::)

I just read something this week saying that five characters are going to die and Charlie is definitely one of them.  (won't bother me at all -- I can't stand looking at his piggy nose!  :))

Just downloaded and watched the most recent episode and all I can say (since I can't give it away)  is "WHAT???"  and  "WHY????"   It was the last thing I expected!!
