I saw Pomegreat in our local Sainsburys this week. I haven't seem Pom Wonderful anywhere but as it is a new product here, it will probably take a while before all the shops get it.

I checked ASDA today as well, and no pomegranate juice. :(  In a couple of weeks, I'll be at the BF's in Cornwall and I'll be able to go to a Sainsbury. I hope they have it!

I found 'Pomegreat' at my little neighborhood Morrisons yesterday - big surprise!  Usually if I am looking for something specific, they don't have it.  I was buying orange juice & chanced upon the Pomegreat -- so I picked up a carton to try. :)

Let me know how you like it, Carolyn!  Does it taste anything like cranberry juice?

No, it doesn't taste like cranberry juice.  It has its own flavor - very nice. I was surprised at how sweet it is, considering that it doesn't have any added sugar - my first thought?  Koolaid!! Or maybe Hawaiian Punch - but not really like either & not that sweet. If you think it's too sweet -- put two healthy fingers of Absolut into it & that'll do you good. It's sure being kind to me right now. [smiley=drunk.gif]  (While I wait on Steve's little bit of rijstafel!)

I bought some Pomgreat at Sainsbury's this weekend.  It is nice, though nice as nice as Pom, which is 100% pomegranate juice.  It will have to do till I find the other.  At least there is something similar.

What else is mixed in with the Pomegreat stuff?

What else is mixed in with the Pomegreat stuff?

It is 37% Juice, Water, fruit extract, flavorings, Vitamins A,C,E and Folic acid.

The juice drink is nice, though I perfer the 100% pomegranate juice.  You can even get different flavors mixed with it, such as Blueberry, Mango and a few others.  I am sure it will come readily available here soon, well I am hoping.

Pom Wonderful has been found in Essex!!  I read in the paper that 100% pomegranate juice was being sold in the UK.  Waitrose has started carrying the juice and a UK yankee members husband found some in a Budgens.  Just thought I would share the update.

I had to resurrect this thread because I finally found Pom Wonderful at a gourmet deli in Llandeilo! I like the flavour of it, but find it a bit overpowering. I've been mixing it with soda water, and it's lovely!

But I do prefer it to Pomegreat!

I thought this was a growing trend or something; I'm suddenly seeing all variants of pomegranate juice as well as fresh seeds next to my mango pieces at Sainsbury's now... didn't see them before.
I do like them (the juice and the seeds)

Pret has their version as well.

I bought some Pom... i hated it!  :-\\\\
The one i had wasnt sweet at all... it was very tart and seemed acidic to me.
I tried 2 sips and dumped the rest of the bottle.  :(

I just spotted some in Morrison's earlier this week and pointed it out to my husband because I've never heard of it before! Thought it would be nice to try and might do so next week. :)
