Nope wrong end of the state...Dunsmuir (I only know this from doing welfare fraud investigations where we had someone claiming benefits in both counties at the same time...needless to say when I got done he owed lots of money and did lots of jail time  ;D)

Damn, I knew I'd screw this up, somehow.  It is supposed to be an F question, but apparently I'm mis-remembering my science class.

Woodlily, do you mean a specific charity or another word for a charity?

Common UK terms ar Third Sector, Voluntary Sector, Voluntary and Community Sector, etc.whereas, non profit is the term used more often in North America. Nothing starting with N that I can think of.

Mapleleafgirl--thanks for the charity information.  The answer is a specific charity which would fall into one of the voluntary categories.  Here's a hint--


It's purpose is to protect and open to the public 350 historic houses, gardens and ancient monuments.
