Spent most of yesterday and today tie-dying (and will probably spend a good part of tomorrow dying as well).  My hands are totally trashed.  BUT....as I was hanging things up to dry today, THREE different people came by and wanted to buy stuff right off the line!!!  I couldn't sell it yet as there is still more to be done to the items to 'set' the dye, but WOOHOO!!!  Made my day!!!  :)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Getting an e-mail from my mom (who hates sending e-mails) saying she got my mother's day card.  I sent her one saying 'you're such a great mom that I'm telling you I love you on both the British and American mother's days!'  She was really confused when she got the card but then she opened it and really loved it.  She brought it to her work to show her coworkers!  She also signed the e-mail 'mum'.

Finding out last night that my husband is coming home two days earlier then expected!!! Yay I can't wait, I've missed him so much!!!

Modified to say, I spoke to soon... It's always the friggin way... the Royal Navy sucks (it doesn't really but that's how I feel now)... The weather is too rough for them to go alongside to let Dave off so we won't be home til tomorrow now.  :\\\'(   I so hate when this type of thing happens!!!  :\\\'(

Forgetting to get a cashier's check yesterday at the bank but finding out that another branch of my bank is open on Saturdays from 9-1pm and it isn't too far away!  I need to give someone the cashier's check today!

Getting flowers from my bf! I've never gotten flowers from anyone before. He even snooped around and found out that daisy's are my favourite flower.  [smiley=daisy.gif]

Got mad at one of the kids today so in an effort to keep from losing it, I decided to count to ten.  "One, two, three....."  Didn't help.

So I tried again in Spanish.  "Uno, dos, tres..."  Still didn't help.

So my sister suggested Roman numerals.  "I, II, III...."  It was hilarious!  Maybe you had to be there, but pretty soon we were all counting at each other and totally cracking up!  I think I need to count this way more often.... ;D
