Getting an email from a very old friend who lives part time in Australia, saying

"Honey, David Wenham patrons the same little coffee shop as yours truly. I drop to my knees every time I walk by and he's just sitting there ALONE sipping his latte!"

Just found out about a new car leasing scheme through my work, and if i can juggle the figures, i *might* be able to get my first ever BRAND NEW car!   I'm really excited at the prospect, cos my poor old Forester isnt too healthy just now.

Wicked!  Are you going to go for an automatic this time?

Nothing like a crackin' new car!

Yes... my friend has now been sent specific instructions on what to do next time this even occurs (and it does NOT involve dropping on knees!)

Spending a really nice afternoon with my MIL.  We totally bonded (Even more then we have before)  I am so lucky!  She also bought the baby his coming home outfit plus other essentials.  (Coming home outfit is just a sleeper, but it's so cute!)

that's brilliant!!!
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Going out to grab something for lunch and finding it sunny and warm. Then coming back from lunch, had the windows down and smelling freshly cut grass. Beautiful Day!

Also, seeing leaves budding on the trees and waking up to the birds singing in the tree right outside the bedroom window.

I'm so glad Spring is actually here!

It's great ain't it!  I feel bad when I hear horror stories about MIL & FIL that are evil.

Oh yeah!  OMG, MIL & FIL are just the best -- they paid for our wedding, they gave us a sizeable amount to put toward down payment on our house (we wouldn't have been able to buy this one without their help).  They are both so active (for being just over 65 yrs) -- travel to all kinds of interesting & exotic places.  FIL just got BIL's old computer, so now he's learning how 'to compute'...lol.  We love them to pieces! :)  And their oldest son is pretty hot too... ;)

My MIL is great as well. Shes like a teenager. At our wedding she got very drunk & started dancing around singing Pussycat Doll's 'Don't Cha'.  [smiley=laugh4.gif]

Well, i was planning on it... but it's not going to work out.  I'll have to hold onto the Scooby for awhile yet.  :(

Now that ive posted here,  i have to think of something 'pleasurable' now, dont i?
Errrmmm... right:  we had to do a technical knowledge test at work, and i was the only one in my team that got 100%!

Bummer.  But, try to look at the positive side - at least you're stuck with a car that's done well for you and not some awful piece of crap you hate. :)
