Sorry.  Here's a freebie you can keep... just in case:  Only 24 weeks until autumn. :)

Blimey!   :o

Right, that's not good.

Erm, break out the ice cream machine.  There's an unexpected pleasure.

FINALLY getting to see my favorite painting of all time up close and personal (we're talking years, people).

At the National Gallery exhibit, Americans In Paris, running til 21 May.  It's gorgeous (well, it's my personal favorite time period in art history).

Hollywood, CA -> London, UK 2004
London, UK -> Long Beach, CA 2007

Best 3 1/2 years of my life!

Stopping at the Aveda counter to buy some shampoo on my way home and the woman working there was from Phili! We had a very nice five minute chat!

It makes me remember what it used to be like to have a casual chat with a friendly stranger. It was a nice ending to my work week!  ;)

Having a great visit with the Health Visitor who came to meet me before baby is born.  I just love the whole system they have here in the UK after your baby is born.

E, that painting is stunning, I love Sargent's stuff!

It turned into a lovely day here!  Fab!  Popped the ice cream bowl in the freezer.  It's time to get that thing churning.  YES!

My package from Lush arrived today!  (I'm in the US for a few months and going into major withdrawal.)  Anyway, in addition to the two 'blue skies' bubble bars that I ordered, I received a 'snow festival' bubble bar, a 'mr butterball' ballistic, a 'jingle spells' ballistic, a bar of 'twas the night'(?) soap, 'randy buttercream', and a sample of 'fresh farmacy face soap'.  SCORE!!!  ;D ;D ;D

(Long, hot bath for me tonight!)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.
