Started off yesterday with a list of problems as long as my arm, and by some miracle, had them all resolved by early afternoon!  :)

had a dinner and a show today. we got the chimenea sorted and grilled a pizza sat outside at lunch time and Jess decided to entertain us by dressing up in her ballet costume and recreated the trock performance she saw on sat ...it even got a "bravo" from the lady upstairs that was looking out of her window whilst smoking her cigarette..lol!
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Talking to my dad on the phone for a whole twenty minutes and having lots of laughs! (We rarely talk on the phone! )

Finding a mechanic who only charges $45/hour for labor.  Yeh...no more squealy brakes!

Finding that the renewal that my insurance company sent me was the lowest
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

Applying for a job end of last week and getting a call first thing this morning saying 'how very interested' they are in me.  (I worked for the same organisation before in the States so I thought they would be.)  They are going to call me back to schedule me in for interview when I get back from holiday.  I may not even end up getting or accepting the job.  But it's still nice to feel wanted. :)
