Applying for a job end of last week and getting a call first thing this morning saying 'how very interested' they are in me.  (I worked for the same organisation before in the States so I thought they would be.)  They are going to call me back to schedule me in for interview when I get back from holiday.  I may not even end up getting or accepting the job.  But it's still nice to feel wanted. :)

Woohoo!  That is very cool!

Yeah congrats - weren't you formerly in the pensions industry?  Hope it works out for you!

Mine is getting up on time for work this morning despite the jet lag and my alarm not going off!   ;D

Being blessed with great weather on Saturday - especially perfect to go on the London Eye!

Yes and no.  I worked over here (UK) in the pension industry for about 6 months.  My last long-term job in the US though was for a major (top 10) mutual fund company, with my very last rotation there in the retirement plans dept.  But this job is something I did before that (about 10 years ago) -- non-profit financial counseling organization.

our recent new manager of 3 weeks (whom everyone hates) is already leaving and we get our old manager back who everyone loves!!  I was actually applying for other jobs because I could not stand her. Now I don't have to!!

Oh one more, I got my pictures from my trip in the mail today. Awww how sweet they are, made me smile so big and think of what a great time I had with my man and the little ones  :D

I get the keys to my new apartment Wednesday instead of waiting until Saturday when the lease starts!  So I can slowly move in my stuff now.
