I just got my lease renewal letter today.  Long story short, I will be able to move to the UK in Feb!! I know this might not seem much to people but to me, the Uber Virgo, knowing the goal and being able to seriously plan for it is heaven

So...I'm kind of 'stuck' in the states for a few months...ugh!!!  (Long story that I don't intend to discuss, but should be over soon....)

There is an upside, though....

Today while I was at work a young man came in and mentioned he was stationed in Iraq w/the same unit my brother is in!  We had such a nice long chat.  He said he knows my brother, and thinks he's a very hard working, dedicated soldier w/a heart of gold.  As he put it, my brother would give anyone the shirt off his back and then ask if they'd like his pants and shoes to go with it!  He offered to hand deliver a note to my brother when he returns to the unit next week, so I wrote a nice little 'we love you' note and this young man put it in his wallet so he wouldn't forget it.

Awww.... :)

(As soon as this young man returns from military duty, he's rounded up a group of friends to do a humanitarian to Mexico to work at an orphanage, then he's leaving on a 2-year religious mission.  What an amazing kid!)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

I started developing a migraine at the end of work, so took way too many ibuprofen to try and head it off. It still became a big headache, but not a "full blown, knock me out in pain migraine" and I slept it off now  :D

I am hoping that your brother & all the others there arrive home safe & sound as soon as possible! :)

Doing an online search for some music notation software, and finding exactly what I wanted, easy to use, everything I need, and best of all it was free!!!!!  ;D :D [smiley=guitarist.gif]

Where?!  What kind?  Like something you can tell it the notes and it will play the melody for you?

Yes, you compose the music, and it will play it back for you. I really just wanted it to arrange/compose some sheet music, as I would like to start teaching again. Rather than buy music, I just do my own arrangements, cheaper that way, and the students don't have to pay for music.
