Having a gorgeous day yesterday and going for a nice walk.  Blue skies.  I love it!

Finding a laminated extra large world map for the den!  Thought we'd have to get one online, found it at a great book/map shop downtown today!! :)

I love it when Jess has her little girlfriends over and you can hear them chit chat in her bedroom..they were discussing which eggs are better earlier on:

"I got a bratz smarties one"
"Smarties are ok but I like the aero one "
"Barbie ones are nicer"
"I don't like chocolate mum got me a Jasmine dress"
3 voices in unison -"OOOOOO CAN I WEAR IT"

lol!!
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Discovering that the 'unexpexted pleasures' thread is STILL longer than the 'inconvenient annoyances' thread.  Keep posting, everyone!!!  ;D
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

Well done, FunGirl!  i think that is almost more rewarding than getting appreciation at a paid, job!

My unexpected pleasure is my kids totally forgetting that the easter bunny leaves baskets on easter morning.   And my son totally LOVING what was put in his (Man U scarfe and goalie gloves among other things..) after he realised there were hidden treats.  I like when I nail  gifts for the kids.

Attending a lovely Easter mass at Westminster Cathedral with the Cardinal!  I got to shake his hand and all.  Then DH and I went to a nice breakfast at Eat and Two Veg.  Now on for a nice relaxing afternoon...

Walked over to see dd with the wee boy, along the way he befriended a little old lady (he's always doing this) so we walked and talked with her for a few minutes and when we were about go in seperate ways, she stopped and reached into her bag and brought out a creme egg for him.

Now, that, is really sweet.   Probably made both their days! (those are the treats you absolutely cannot tell your kids they can't have!)

Waking up this morning, seeing my dog and cat both sleeping in my room looking content and safe, and hearing the cat's cute little snore.  Like children, they're little angels (but with fur) when they sleep.
