Getting a Snickers bar in our office shop and eating nearly all of it...yum.

A professor giving me a hug goodbye, and telling me that if I needed anything, like a letter of recommendation,  to let her know!  That made me feel awesome!   :D

there is nothing worse!  I stock up when I go back to NY, I love Mack's silicone ones.

Mine is finally finding the cot/crib I like and ordering it.  Oh and it was on SALE!

I was frightened, but i put on a brave face and walked right up to them... I think they were blown away that someone actually dared to confront them!

DH is home and we are making dinner together.  Hopefully will get to bed before 11 tonight so that I can run tomorrow before work...otherwise I'll never go!

Excellent QG! I had a three 10-12 yr old boys yelling from a far at me last summer and I did the same thing....walked right up and asked them if their parents knew they talked like that (my heart beating away as I did it). I could see that they were good kids (raised well) but I still gave it to them!  >:(

And to apologise! That is great. I take my hat off to you.
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

Well done, you!  I was with an Asian pal when he did this, and the kids got all apologetic, too.  My pal just came out w/his straight up Glaswegian accent and said, 'Why are you calling me a Pakistani when I'm actually a weegie?'  The look on their faces was priceless.  They were like, 'Sorry, mate.'
