Got a check in the mail for $48. Some Discover Law suit, I believe, but it's right on cue because we have $.08 in the bank until payday ;) I think I shall go ahead and get the oil changed today.

My niece mailed me a picture she colored for me, and it really made me smile. She heard me telling mom about the picture a friend's daughter colored for me to include in a card that was being sent, and how it made me realize how long it has been since I had crayon art on the fridge. It was such a fun surprise because she is 21 now, but has a heart of gold. So, I now have two colored works of art on the fridge.

She also included the $10 I loaned her a couple weeks ago and had forgotten all about, so it was a double surprise.

Awww, that's so sweet!  Your niece is a very special person - a real "keeper" we used to say.  ;D

She is most definitely a keeper. Her sisters and brothers are too. Still, she shows her love for everyone more readily, which makes her so awesomely special. :)

DH had a meeting with Global Head at work and got confirmation of our move back to the UK...July 2015!  Relieved it is prior to the school year.

Now I am looking at the Queen Mary 2 website to see about arriving this way instead of a flight!

Yay for good news!  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] I love the idea of a getaway by sea as your way of arrival.

Mine: My friend's daughter had her send another card so she could send me a butterfly she colored for me. She has a tender heart like her mama. While I was out shopping today I bought her a few packs of stickers and three of those vacuum packed washcloths you soak in water to get them to open up, all in Disney princess designs.

This is what we are doing. With the Dog and Kiddos, it will be cheaper for us. Of course we have to book way in advance, but we have a move date in mind.

I love love the idea of moving to the UK via the Queen Mary 2!  It does come out cheaper when you have lots of stuff.  It is so romantic and my imagination goes to the days before air travel when a transatlantic journey was a very big deal and by boat was the only option.

I keep toying with the idea too, especially if it comes to pass that Maxwell will make the move.  The idea of bringing as much as you can cram in your cabin appeals but then you still have to get it up from Southampton.

I keep finding more and more treats in the kitchen, since arriving home. So far I have found pumpkin spice Oreos, Halloween Oreos, candy corn flavored/shaped marshmallows, pumpkin spice Quaker oatmeal, two kinds of pumpkin cookies, and some cream cheese/pumpkin frosting.

Mom has fun spoiling us, but this is a lot of goodies. :D Not that I am complaining. I do love pumpkin spice everything.

After posting, I found a box of Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts on the top shelf of our food shelves. Not just the 8 pack, but the 16 pack. With all these pumpkin treats and everything we brought home from the UK, we should be good for treats through at least the beginning of the year.
