Yes this sounds crazy especially for a Monday morning but shortly after the alarm went off....it was pouring down rain and there was a bit of thunder. I actually got excited. I miss proper rain and thunder! Now all I need is to hear crickets on a warm summer evening when sitting out in the back garden.  ;)

Sorry... but you KNOW i have to ask!  ;)
What's wrong with the rain and thunder we have here?  Why isn't it 'proper'?
(I love thunder too...)

Having a great weekend away with my bf. He loved going to Nashville as his birthday present. (He'd never been before, I sort of grew up there)  :D Spending time alone was great, and we had some really great conversations. He asked me if I would ever consider marrying him......we're planning on getting engaged sometime within the next year or so.  [smiley=smitten.gif]

The city life has really been driving me crazy the past few weeks!!!  It was such a wonderful and welcoming surprise to find out that DH booked us for a mini-holiday to the countryside in North Devon this coming weekend!!

Went to get my hair done today (at the advice of someone who gave me a ride home when my car broke down) and it is near my house, cut and color for 25 GBP.  She did a fantastic job. It really looks good, and my three yr. old is my worst critic- she likes it!

Last cut and color at Regis- 85 GBP.

Finding out it was going to easier to give notice to marry then previously thought.

Also being so in love with DF that it makes my inside squishy, I had one of those "I couldn't love you more moments the other day"  I know I know *gag!

Meeting my friends, their twin boys, and my husband for lunch today.  Gorgeous sunny day again today too.

Been feeling down about life in general and missing the b/f a bit more than usual. . . . he's proclaimed himself as "not soppy", but manages to come through once in awhile with just enough mushiness to get me through a few weeks. . . I've been overdue for a fix- and got online to email him I needed some sappiness thrown my way- and found he'd anticipated it and emailed me a thouroghly sweet email. . .  ;D Aaaaaw.

Spending some time tonight with my 7-month-old nephew...he always looks first really surprised, then really pleased to see me!  Love that little guy... [smiley=smitten.gif]
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.
