Completing my 16 mile run today....not exactly quickly and not exactly without walking a lot, but hey, I did it. :P

Good on YA! I couldn't do 16 miles, least not without a wheel change on my zimmer.

Oh you want a UA, ok

My UA is being able to put on some really good tracks and sit back and escape, daydream, just relax a bit while the boy sleeps. Is this the calm before the storm? It has been pure bliss!
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

Waking up thinking I had to work, then realizing it was Saturday  ;D

Congratulations, Geeta! That's a major accomplishment! I get tired driving 16 miles!

Mine is getting to spend a fun day with Mindy and her family.  Went to the mall and walked around for a while.  (Oh and it's not that it's unexpected, just a pleasure really)

Geetak,
It was even funnier than we expected- I have been introducing my Brit husband to the series, which he loves- if they had it here, he didn't remember watching it.
Nothing like making a fool out of ourselves on a Sat afternoon!

Are you training for a marathon or something?  My hubby likes to run, but he's not done a marathon.  He's done the Leeds 10k and half-marathon before, but that's the most.  He's not done a big run since last May 'cause he had an injury last autumn, and then he was going to do the Leeds half- again but it was last Sunday (May 7) & we were 'living it up' in the US April 14-May 1 (so he wouldn't have been training properly up until the day).

Yeah carolynb, training for the Edinburgh marathon in June.  Today I finally feel I deserve to wear my 'In training - Edinburgh Marathon' shirt!  I'm not in too bad of shape today - knees hurt a bit, but otherwise doing fine.

My unexpected pleasure for today - getting to DH's regatta on time to see him row (and beat his rival), then going to the store with him and stocking up for the week, and now relaxing with the Times and a cup of tea....

Cool!  I've tried to encourage DH for a marathon, but so far -- he thinks it would be 'too hurty'. :P

Rich has actually cleared away most of our jungle like front garden finally!  It's amazing how much room there is out there now and how much sun we are now getting.

Yeah it is kind of hurty...I don't know if I will do another one.  But since my training for this one has been so crap, I feel like I want to do one more to see if I can improve on my time.   :-\\\\

Meeting two of the nicest girls this weekend, restoring my faith in Leicestershire parents.  There are some quite stunning kids out there and I am honoured to have been permitted to bring them into my life.
Riding the rollercoaster of life without a seat belt!
