My name is Leigh, and I stalk handbags.   :-[

I have a fotie of a handbag as my computer desktop background.  :-\\\\

You guys crack me up!!!  [smiley=laugh4.gif] [smiley=laugh4.gif] [smiley=laugh4.gif]

I got 5" cut off my hair today and had it THINNED!!!  It's still too darn hot here, but this makes it slightly more bearable!
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

HaHa.  I thought that was funny until I realised i do the same thing!  There is a hand bag at Fenwicks that i visit from time-to-time.  If only I had an extra £130 to spend..  It's just it is the PERFECT bag, everything i want all rolled up into one.  and fashionable to boot.

My UP for the day is I woke up at 6:45.  I felt like I had slept in,  considering i've been waking up at 5:30 for the past two weeks!

We just got a new store in our area and they have everything!   Found they even have a great section of imported foods from the UK and they have REAL CADBURY chocolate, not the crappy US kind!!  DH was so happy, he ate a whole box of Cadbury Fingers last night ;D

Getting a call from a big insurance company, They want me to come in for an interview Thursday. IF I get it, it would be so great, I'll be making almost as much as Dale does but I'll be working 2 jobs for awhile but it all works out to Dale being at home to watch the baby during both jobs, which is so convinenant *fingers crossed*

Likewise -- Maria, Mamma Mia!  Hey at least you won't be hot (like Arizona hot) in the months to come... ;)

My husband loves those too!  His parents have a photo of him as a toddler eating Cadbury Fingers with face, fingers, etc covered in chocolate.  There was so much chocolate on one of his fingers, he then tried to eat it -- and cried when he bit himself. [smiley=laugh4.gif]

I think I might have good chance at a position with the same people I'm interning for this summer, except this one would be for Aug-May and not an internship! The pay would be great, I'd only have to work Mon-Thurs, 8:00-2:30. I would have time to take classes in the afternoon-the only down side would be I'd have to take less credit hours than I have been. I'm going to fill out the application and see how it goes.

I was kind of shocked that they mentioned it to me (as in...you should consider applying) because I'm at least 10 years younger than everyone else who works in the Aug-May program.

I had a really good doctor's appointment today.  It was a new practice doctor & she actually seemed to have some life in her (some enthusiasm for what she was doing!) compared to my regular doctor.  (She's only there for 6 months though.)  I was having a regular check for my blood pressure & blood pressure medication.  She got really excited because my blood pressure is now at the 'lower end of normal' (110 over 60 -- which almost sounds too low to me, but ok) & my weight continues to come down.  Now I have to watch & see that my BP doesn't go too low.  I will go back in 4 months for another check, but it's looking possible that I may be able to ditch the meds at some point if this continues.  However, I am starting my new job soon -- so the BP will probably go up again then!  Oh well, it was a good appointment today. :)

Received our birthday box from my grandparents today (already! --- they only posted it on the 12th).  Haven't opened the birthday gifts yet (waiting for DH to get home), but I can already see FOUR kinds of Oreos (mint, chocolate cream, double stuffed, and golden), a bottle of Karo syrup, and a box of Ritz Bitz.  ;D
