having a really nice afternoon with friends and making brownies with green and blacks cocoa and nearly an entire Cadbury's bar- we just kept throwing chocolate at that batter-

and it was worth it....

Rich taught my Dad how to use text messaging on his cell when we were home.  Now my Dad sends me the cutest text's.  He is all excited about it to, brags to his friends "I know how to text my daughter!!" [smiley=smitten.gif]  Love my Dad...

Had a chat with my boss last night, after hours.
She is so cool, and willing to try to accommodate me on something about my job that's been really bugging me.

It's great to have a good boss, isn't it?  Can make all the difference in the world.  I had the best boss at my last job in Florida. :)

Had a HUGE fight with DH this week, we made up, moved our schedules around a bit, and out of it, I'm spending more quality time with my kids (was lacking a bit) and much better quality time with him.  Wading through the sh*t is worth it when the land is golden on the other side!

last night, I made a great supper, made chocolate chip cookies with DD and watched the last episode of Charmed and ER with the kids (with popcorn!)  It was a great night!

My mother offering to give me her fabulous red velvet jacket with equally fabulous lizard pin... because she's lost too much weight and it doesn't fit her anymore. ;D

Pity.

Going out to lunch with my mom (She leaves tomorrow  :\\\'() and having a wonderful (peaceful) first real outing out with Master J.

Also receiving my ILR in the post today, only took 3 1/2 weeks with no problems at all.

Any of you familiar w/Chums?  The company that made big $$$ on eyeglass retainers?  A while back they sold at least that aspect of the company and production moved from the town I'm in now (good old Hurricane, Utah) to somewhere in Asia.  Well, my sister and I just scored BIG TIME from them!!!  They were cleaning out the warehouse and had buckets of powder dye that they needed to get rid of.  Procion fibre-reactive dye.  The really good stuff.  They GAVE it to us for free!!!  Woohoo!!!  We have probably several THOUSAND dollars worth of dye!!!  We're now seriously looking into a small, part-time business to supplement our incomes.  (My sister is a SAHM, and I've got to build up some more savings before heading back to Scotland...)

(Anyone want to buy a tie-dye t-shirt???) [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] 8) ;D
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.
