I have to take the girls to the other end of the state tomorrow so they can stay w/my ex's parents for a week.  I decided I'd try and book us a hotel room for the night so we can spend some time together before they meet w/their grandparents, as things have been a bit chaotic here and we haven't actually seen much of each other over the past couple of days.  Well...I found us a hotel room at Hotwire.com...the Radisson in Park City for under $50!!!  Woohoo!  We'll be spending the night up out of the blasted heat and the smoke from the fires raging all around us.  Cool, clean mountain air!  :)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Buying some fabric and ebay and it is even nicer than I expected. Fabric isn't an easy thing to buy without seeing/touching it, but I keep getting lucky with ebay.

Getting a sweet e-mail from a good friend today, with lots of compliments...providing me with a sorely needed ego boost.  :)

My sweetie bringing me breakfast in bed this morning, and all on his grandmother's antique china. Tea, strawberries and cream, and a bagel.  :)

I just got the coolest email... from Elizabeth Kuyper !?!?

A 19 year old girl in the States who googled her name, and my website came up - so she wrote to me asking about me and my family tree.  She's trying to piece together hers, and wanted to know about mine!
So cool!

But unfortnatly 90%  of it has to go towards rent this month
With the other 10% I got my haircut and  dyed it! :P

My landlady stopped by last night.  The first thing she said to me was "Have you lost weight?"  I never weigh myself, but I know I have.  It is just nice that someone noticed!
