Had the sprinkler on yesterday afternoon, trying to keep the lawn from dying.  On the spur of the moment, grabbed one of the girls and dragged her into the sprinkler w/me, then went back for the other.  We were all absolutely drenched and had to change our clothes before leaving for Park City, but it was the best tension breaker!  We laughed and laughed... :)

Coming back from a nightmare immigration hearing to find that a former client (now more of a friend) who is visiting from Australia had dropped off a big box of very expensive choccies...which I am now happily munching my way through!!!

peddling around Coney Island in a rickshaw while hundreds and hundreds of people clap and cheer ...meanwhile your little ones have grins from ear to ear . That memory is a keeper!!! Not to mention getting back and finding out that Jessica got her mermaid wish and was nominated Best Little Mermaid so she gets a trophy for the experience!! ;D ;D


although I'm not happy that my mermaid peddling a** is now googable :-[

Welcome back Alicia!

My Up today - getting a call from a few of my friends from college and all planning to meet up over the weekend.  I haven't seen some of thier kids in a while and there is a new baby in the group!  I love it when we all get together.  It's going to make my weekend!
 ;D
Also - Having a 4.5 day weekend!  Leaving work at noon and not back until Wednesday.
Fireworks displays all over the place...BBQs.  I guess on a sad note - probably my last 4th of July in the US.

OMG that was so much fun and the rickshaw wasn't picked up till the last minute so we just threw some cloth on it. There were photographers EVERYWHERE!! taking pictures from every angle :-[ the girls loved every second of it but it freaked me out slightly :P  press asking about the costumes , the girls , the parade , the charity drive and they were from all over the globe ...the japanese crew asked hundreds of questions about my rickshaw , time out about the girls , the arts mag about the costume ...I wasn't expecting that  [smiley=dizzy2.gif]



and now I'm just trolling Flickr to see how people pictured us ...some of the pictures were brilliant!
