Finding out my mother is going to be released (again!) from hospital tomorrow morning.  And the neurologist doesn't think there's any permanent damage due to oxygen deprivation.  :)

My UP -  waking up this morning to find out that Italy won last night!   Im not really that into them, but i drew them in an office sweep, so now im hoping they win so i can win the sweep money!  :)

Oh I knew last night: Our neighbour across are an Italian family. So either Italy won or they were quoted happy.

I drew them as well and I have now won at least £20 and potentially £40 if they win the whole thing...

Two:

The first is that a friend at work gave me a compilation CD of 'American Music' which made me smile

The second is my 9 year old's school report gave her a PE target of kicking the ball into the goal, and it gave us all a laugh because she's in good company.  The entire England team seem to have the same problem.  ;)

One last cold diet Coke in the fridge...and since I'm the first one up, I got it!!!  :)

Watching Kirsty's 16-lb cat playing like an itty-bitty kitten.  (Who does he think he's kidding?)

Made some scones last night before bed...instead of sweet I made savoury w/cheese and a wee bit of garlic.  They were delicious!!!

This is crap..and I'm slightly drunk...but this is the best, more discreet alternative to shouting from the rooftops...which is what I really want to do...

My boyfriend is just the loveliest person I have ever known.  He's gorgeous and kind and funny and respectful!  I'm nearly thirty, I've had lots of boyfriends, but I've never had one I could describe as 'respectful' before!

Smitten Vicky....sorry!  Boring, I know!
