While visiting my family in the states last week, my DD decides to walk on her own unaided!  Now there is no stopping her.  It was wonderful that my family finally got to see a very important "first" of hers.  Being so far from them, they have missed so many.  :\\\'(

I tried on my wedding dress for the first time yesterday, I think I said "It's so pretty" 80 times.

I finally got my checks from my new bank so I can finally switch all my things over.

My windows being opened at just the right angle so the morning sun caught my crystal. Rainbows everywhere was the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes this morning. [smiley=daisy.gif]

Hey - I work in the low-rent shopping district of Leeds...it's fab!  Poundland, PoundStretcher, Woolworths, etc.  You should check it out sometime (do you have an area similar in York?).

Then again, Harvey Nicks and lots of cool boutique shops are just down the street and around the corner. :)

My DH came home from work a  bit late on monday but he called an told he was going to be late. the  reason he was late he suprised with me with a new tower to my computer. we both have our own computers my MIL gave me her old computer when she upgraded to her new computer when I first moved over here in July 2004. DH felt bad cause he messed up my tower by trying to upgrade his computer but it didnt work. so the part he took out of my tower he put back, but my computer wouldnt fire up past the windows window. so I guess long story short dont mess with something that isnt broke. but im my case im not complaining as long as I can talk with my family & friends back home is all that matters to me.

Being kicked out of my house with two months notice!

Nope, really, it's brilliant!  I hate it here, I want to be back north of the river, and I had thought I was going to have to sit out my contract until November, now I get to go two months early!
