the River island on the high road is closing down to move up the road where the Curry's used to be but because they can't be a**ed to shift stock they have stuff on :SALE!!

I got tons of new season stuff for £20!!YAY ;D  so I'm kitted out for my next placement because I don't have to wear that stupid student nurse uniform in a middle of a heat wave!! ;D ;D

We made it for the first time yesterday and it came out great! Much less oily and super fresh.

Fresh red bell peppers, 2 for $1...yummy!

My mother is getting her trache tube out tonight.

AND...I have the entire house to myself...all night long!  I'm going to lock the doors and shut the curtains and pretend I'm not home.  A nice long bath, a couple of reruns of 'House' on tv, and an early night!
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

My DF came through his surgery yesterday, and we thought he was going to have to stay the night in the hospital but after only an hour after hearing he would have to stay overnight he called FROM HOME.  He is resting and trying to recover and last night was the first night of really good sound sleep I have had in months, but I woke up this moring only wanting more.

Thanks for the prayers and words of encouragment everyone.

The house to myself.  Vodka & cran.  Need I say more? ;D

Oh & my 'team leader' (aka supervisor) pulled me aside at work today to let me know that this is the first month he monitored some of my calls (woohoo - woohoo...  think call centre light - like almost nonexistent, only 5-10 calls per day) & I scored 100% for hitting all the criteria.  I turned to him & said like...uh...what are the criteria? [smiley=laugh4.gif]  I didn't think that I'd done anything spectacular. ::)

But it was a nice pat on the back.  My supervisor is alright 'cause he doesn't really care about his job so he can't be a*sed to hover over you & make one's work hellish.  Then again, he can't be a*sed to do anything you need him to do either... :P
