Not realizing just how much I needed to hear Van Morrison's voice just now (on 'my station' on yahoo)
*sigh*

What is it about that voice that just makes you... feel comfy?

Cherries on sale for 99 cents/pound!  :)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Finally booking our trip back to NY so Josh can meet his great grandparents and friends ;D  We are going for three weeks, so I am hoping to also make it to Boston and Chicago as well.

Trading our manual car in for an automatic...  and by doing so, being legally able to drive in the UK and not ever having to deal with the stoopid DVLA ever again (about licences anyway)!!! [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

A good, solid night of sleep after over a week of not getting one. :)

Having the day off (ok, that part wasn't unexpected) and actually feeling motivated to work out instead of slouch around in my PJ's - in the back of my mind I figured I'd sleep all morning and not have any motivation to do much but I feel sooo much better for having got up and spent some quality time on the treadmill!!  :D

Jealous, me, NO! :P

Josh's UK passport was just delivered today. (Less then two weeks wait) It's all funky, with a plastic photo page.

Seeing my  son sooooo happy last night after a great football training session!  I love when he's so happy he buzzes.  It hasn't happened a lot since we moved.

Maybe more relief than UP, but, my DS (15 months) has been down for the past week with acute necrotizing ulcerative gingivitis, more unpleasantly known as 'trench mouth'.  Poor thing hasn't eaten anything but a few bites of custard or angel delight since last Thursday.  Today he is eating for all of Scotland!  Finally.  He is a little skinny guy naturally, and was getting a bit too thin for my liking.  Come on appetite!
