Trading our manual car in for an automatic...  and by doing so, being legally able to drive in the UK and not ever having to deal with the stoopid DVLA ever again (about licences anyway)!!! [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

You lucky duck!  :)  I'm glad that one of us has escaped the clutches of the DVLA. Enjoy your freedom!

Thanks Tanis!  We're well chuffed and we pick the car up tomorrow.  To top it off, we also got a loan for the difference in the trade in - our first credit in the UK!!  We just killed two birds with one stone and it all happens on our anniversary of landing in the UK.

The boxes I shipped from home in June are starting to arrive. 3 down, 1 left. :)

When my 24 boxes arrived shortly after I got here, it felt like Christmas!!!  (I even forgot what I packed in some of them!!)

discovering over 20 some Otis Redding songs I never heard before..even surprised the Otis Redding Anorak Phil as well. He even did a halloween song. Blimey.

cleaned out one of the cubbards and found a pumpkin fondue with artichokes and sage recipe that I missplaced a while ago..yay!

Buying Courtney a toy that records my voice, I said Mama on it..and within 10 minutes she finally said Mama for the first time. NO more just saying Dada! lol
