Eclipse 'Midnight Cool' chewing gum.  A hint of licorice, and although it's not as nice as Airwaves Black, it'll get me through the next 6 weeks or so... :)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Not unexpected, but my parents are arriving in about a half an hour!!!  I'm so excited to see them and have the next three days with them.

Kind of unexpected..  but I've been spending a ton of time with my 12 year old son - both DH and DD are away so it is just him and me this week.  I'm exhausted (he's a total extrovert and NEEDS people, I'm an introvert so my tendency is "Leave me alone!") but I am so enjoying our time together.  I've brushed up on all my 12 year old boy music choices  (how many songs can you play that have the word 'fart' in them..) and we've had some really good meaningful conversations. Also, we've started a routine of making supper together, eating in the living room while watching Star Trek Voyager.   Not a bad way to pass the time.

I also have to say, single mothers of only children, My hat goes off to you!

My passport arrived today! I sent off the application on August 3 and today's August 23. I had hoped it would only take a few weeks so I'm really happy that that's all it took.

Having my hairstylist tell me he LOVED the color of my hair.  It's my natural color.  :)

My new schedule approved at work, I didn't think they would go for it. I have been wanting to change my hours so I get off earlier to spend a little extra time with Sarah. They said OK when I was sure it would not fly. Now I go in at 7 and leave at 3:30 Monday-Thursday and work 7-2 on Friday. Sweet!

Being on the verge of purchasing a £140 battery for my laptop...

only to see "Breaking News" that my laptop battery is one of the 2 million recalled!! New battery for free! (and fortunately not having had a melted laptop).
had a bit of a wobble.

Got a new pair of Running Shoes today and the owner of the shop threw in some Cliff Blocks for free.

Oh - Forgot to add the other UP. This probably should have come first!!  Unexpected mid-day phone call from the bf!  It was hard to talk to him in the office, but I haven't gotten a mid-day call from him in so long it made my afternoon!
