Having a really great time in Sweden. We were dreading going just because of the typical family obligations, but ended up having a wonderful time and remembering exactly why we hope to move back there one day.
Also, not even remotely unexpected, but we are going to Jamaica in 1 week!! Hooray!

My new winter coat arrived today....and I LOVE IT!!!  The colour is fantastic...a really dark, rich brown.  The sleeves are only a wee bit long (got the petite size), other than that it fits wonderfully.  And it's got some pockets in the lining....I really like inside pockets when I'm just popping out for a few minutes and don't want to have to take my bag w/me.  AND it feels like it will be nice and cozy warm.... :)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Successfully making gnocci for the first time. Found an incredibly easy recipe online, worked great.  :D

My children are feeling better after a week of being sick, and I went out for dinner at Bella Italia with my SIL.  We had a great time!

Have a couple of UP for today...found out DH parents are in Florida for the weekend so no sitting the dog, ect., our company for the weekend is not coming until Saturday night so we'll have the whole day to ourselves and I can put off some of the last minute cleaning/grocery run that I was going to finish this afternoon until Saturday morning and the three zits that popped up yesterday are gone!

Sorry for the last gross UP.  ;D

The nine year old somehow tricked Stacey into taking her home for the afternoon!  Woo-hoo.

Now, no doubt the other side of this story will be posted in inconvenient annoyances.  heeheehee;)

We actually got a few raindrops here this morning.  Not enough to leave the ground wet, but at least there was that lovely scent of rain in the air... :)

Pony tail holders never stay in my hair. They alway gradually slip out, so I end up redoing my hair a million and one times a day.  ::)  DF was at a store, and noticed some new non-slip pony tail holders...he got them for me, and they work!!!  :D

I'm still amazed that he actually looked at pony tail holders just for me   [smiley=smitten.gif]  ...maybe he was just sick of finding them laying all over his house and car.  ;D
