Unexpected pleasures....

went to Las Iguanas  last night for DH's B day meal 'do'  OH  my GOD!!  the best food I've had  since moving to this countrty!!  SSOO worth it!!   

10 hours sleep last night

Bought two £1 scratchoffs, First one I won £1 and second one I won £7 ..woohoo
Only £8 but I never win anything so its great to me!

The nine year old somehow tricked Stacey into taking her home for the afternoon!  Woo-hoo. 

Now, no doubt the other side of this story will be posted in inconvenient annoyances.  heeheehee;)

LOL!  Actually I had a blast!  I even got a cool music thingy from said 9 year olds happy meal.  She already had that one   (Plays Reel 2 Real's I Like to Move it Move it, Josh danced away to it)

My UP was that not one, not two, but all three of Mindy's girls came to meet Josh and I for coffee yesterday!

being woken up with a kiss this morning

Being woken up at 7am that my SIL had had her third baby!  It's a girl this time (Two boys already) thank goodness, I think they would have kept going till they got one

Finding out both my bosses are out today, it will be pretty quiet and low key today.

Not UP but just the fact it is Tuesday and not Monday is a pleasure.

The season opener of 'House' was on tonight! 

AND...I've been asked out by a really handsome man.  (No, NOT the stalker from the IA thread!)   

Had a great day yesterday, played wedding with future MIL, had some visitors, and then planned planned planned like made the reception (we have a round table discussion with one of our caterers tonight)

friend who is an ex nurse  does aromatherapy  and gave me the best  back massage in ages.. yay!!

No complaints thus far but it's only been 24 hours so far...I'm amazed my mom hasn't even commented on how dirty my kitchen is yet!   

Finding out that not only did I get the coolest new phone ever with my contract (I always had to buy the cheap phones in America because the fancy ones were too expensive), but also found out I could make ringtones for it from music that is already on my computer!  Now I want someone to call me so I can sing with my ringtones!   

I have been on the job hunt for almost a month now (seriously applying).  I've applied to a number of positions with no word back and recently I applied for a slightly lower level position that I wasn't even sure I would want.  I must have been more over qualified then I thought because the initial director I emailed it to forwarded it on to another division that is looking for someone for a higher level position but wasn't yet advertising the position.  They wanted me to interview right away and I had my first interview today.  It went great!  He ended it with saying he thought I would be perfect for the job! Second interview tomorrow (says its more of just a formality)...so excited, feels like things are falling into place
