Parent teacher conferences!  I am so proud of Kaitlyn...she struggled in school last year, mostly with turning in her assignments, but she has totally turned things around this year.  Straight A's!

Good job, sweetheart!!!  [smiley=smitten.gif]

Df and I got a giggle fit last night after we attempted to print out our order of service for our wedding, one of them was actually printed so that  you could only read the words if you had a mirror.  Classic Roy and Kristen

The squirrels have gone into panic mode!  They're running around like little madmen collecting all the nuts (we have a walnut tree) their little paws can carry.  Autumn is almost here!! :D

My vacuum hasn't been working properly, it sucks but it isn't picking up the threads on the carpet.  Last night I took it a part and realised that the casing that the carpet brush is in, wasn't attached properly.  I put it back together properly and my living room carpet now looks oh, so fab!  i love my vacuum again!

I just noticed that I have a ton of points racked up on my rewards on my credit card. (I've never cashed any of them.) So I looked around on the rewards website...they had tons of gift cards. I've finished 90% of my Christmas shopping in less than 30 min...and I'm not going to be broke.

I plan on getting everyone a little non-gift card gift also.

Also, I never watch TV. Got bored and watched it tonight....sister act was on, and as soon as it went off, family guy came on the same chanel!

Today's weather forecast...high temps only in the 70's!  I don't think we've been in the 70's since about April!!!  ;D

Oh yea, and a day of tie-dying with my sister yesterday.  We'll get to rinse all the stuff and see how it turned out today....my favourite part of the whole process!  We always tie-dye shirts for the kids to wear to Frightmares...makes them easier to pick out of a crowd.  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

A much needed two hour nap.

An idea I had for something edible worked!

I had a half of an avocado, which I mashed with an equal portion of some kind of soft, fat free italian cheese I found on clearance, some salt and chili powder. I spread it on wholemeal toast and it was really nice! Maybe there's hope for me and this cooking thing yet.  ;D
