With my kids it was 'Moo, Baa, La-La-La' that got us hooked!  I think we ended up w/all her books.  My sister has them now, as she's the one w/little kids...
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

I've decided to make sloe gin and sloe vodka this autumn. Normally, you have to prick all the sloes with a needle ... but I've learned a trick! Someone told me to use one of those cat/dog grooming brushes that has bristles like little needles! You just spread all the sloes out on the counter and go to it. Anyway, I went into town today to the pet shop to buy a brush. When I told the man in the shop what it was for, he said he had loads of sloes in his garden and I was welcome to come and pick them! I love it when total strangers are so friendly!  ;D

A little berry, sort of like a damson. Nasty to eat as is, but delish when transformed into something potable!  :P

Getting an unexpected phone call from my boyfriend.  It was two in the morning in England and he woke up and missed me.  So, he picked up the phone and rang just to say, "Hi, darling!  I miss you..."

After a terrible day at work, that made me so happy! [smiley=love.gif]
