Finally opening my own PO box.

No more worrying if my mail is being snooped through.  ::)

My friend had her twins!  YAY!  William Carter and Cole Joseph made their grand
entrance via C-section.  William Carter weighing in at 3 lbs 14 oz and Cole
Joseph at 3 lbs 6 oz, both are doing well and will remain in the hospital for a bit.

My girlfriend is doing great and I cant wait to meet these little cuties in 15 days!  She has been in bed for the last 8 weeks and was going nuts!  They are early, but healthy and I'm just so excited!!  ;D

Two very dear friends from back home got engaged on their recent trip to India.  He proposed in front of the Taj Mahal and later took her to a jeweler in Bombay to pick out a diamond and have her own ring designed.

Great people, one of the few that you just know are truly in love and their marriage will last a life time.  Great news to wake up to here!  :)

Yeh! thats because we Indians do it right! ha!

My unexpected pleasures today have been resolving an issue with one of my websites that's been perplexing me for around 10 days! and having my business partner's car for a few hours to blat around in and thinking about having some truly great friends in light of a potential situation!

My bf bringing me home the latest US edition of InStyle magazine. He was in London and saw it on a newstand and thought it would make me happy. It's even the fall double issue! He's the best  [smiley=smitten.gif]

An electronics store is going out of business by my office, so I cruised in to mill around on my lunch break. I found something I had been meaning to buy for myself and my mother for over a year, but I originally couldn't bear spending $14.99 each on them. Lightwedge Minis, a small plastic object that has a little magnifier on it, plus it lights up the page when you place it on top, so it's great for reading menus and books, for only $4.99!!! My mom, who is becoming increasingly more blind by the day (her arms are not long enough anymore) always forgets her reading glasses, so I figured this would be great for her to carry in her purse so she can read menus and stuff when she's out.

YAY! (I just wanted one because I like to read in bed, but not with all the lights on. It's too much of a pain to get up and turn off the light once you're all sleepy from reading! [smiley=book.gif]
