I have to agree with you but my DH would have to disagree with you though, he says Ranch dressing smells.

Yes it does - it smells GOOD!

Since I've moved home for a couple of weeks before the big move to London, I've been trying to encourage my Mom to come to the gym with me each day so that I can show her around. She has chronic illness, including lupus and diabetes, and she really needs to take some weight off to improve her health (she has yo-yo dieted all her life--never has exercised much).

Anyway, her health is something I've been worried about a lot lately, especially with me moving an ocean away. So I was so happy today when she decided to sign up for personal training. The trainer was so sweet, and my Mom liked her immediately. I feel so much better knowing that I'm leaving her in good hands, and that she has finally decided to do something good for herself!

Coming home from a long night at work tonight and being surprised by Dale buying me a a couple of my "comfort" items. A bag of marshmellows and a 'love it' magazine. He also got me a bunch of flowers and a couple of other small giftys.  [smiley=smitten.gif]

Creating my CV and realising that I don't look bad on paper, actually. [smiley=smart.gif]

Spending the last 5 hours cleaning our apartment and now sitting down and enjoying a cup of coffee in our very clean living room.

Finding a great and cheap (£16!) holdall that's almost at the maximum dimensions of the new UK carry-on rules.

Am in the office over by another team's area and there's a huge bag of Brach's Candy Corn sitting there!!   :o :D

The analyst who's also here said 'Oh yeah I brought that from the States.  Everyone here really hates it!  They're all angry at me for bringing back such crap candy!'

I was like all happy and homesick and grateful at the same time!!  He said I can basically take the whole bag because all the Brits hate it!  Hee hee!  ;D

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

My five year old niece is my UP.

She's always been great and we've always had a close relationship (we lived in the same house for the first few years of her life and, though we've lived in separate houses for the past couple of years, I still see her nearly daily.) But, I've had a lot of things happen in the past couple of months where I haven't been able to do my normal socializing and volunteer work and I've spent a lot of my free time with her.  Now that I'm quitting my job, going on vacation to England, and probably moving to the city when I get back - I just appreciate our time together so much more and she's just being really great lately. Asking me to play with her or take her to the park and grinning up at me while she waits for my answer. I just want to pack her up with me and take her wherever I go!

Too many to really list but the most important is realizing how lucky I am to have met and married my husband.
