The duty free price for Winter Pimms just dropped to 2 bottles for £15. It had been 2 for £20.  ;D

Today~ making an earlier train, allowing me time to get some errands done before school pickup rather than after!  :)

Having a really tough conversation yesterday with someone I respect who told me alot of harsh things...and after sleeping on it, realising what she was trying to say and knowing what I'm going to do about it.

The crazy American lady from up the village dropped off a slab of scrumptious pumpkin bread for me! I'll have to remember to be nicer about her in the future.  :)

Things look positive for the promotion I applied for, I guess.  If I understand my team leader correctly, only 1 (or maybe 2 people?) applied for the job - including me.  So I may have been the only one - not sure if it's a good thing or bad thing.  Lol!  Anyway, if it happens, I'll still be in the same department working with the same people (and not having to supervise them).  If it doesn't happen, I'll still be in the same department working with the same people (and not having to supervise them).  So it looks to be good, either way. :)

Finding a playgroup that was small enough for my daughter to really have a fantastic time with the other kids and I enjoyed myself too.  :)

A visit from my friend Judith, along with her charming dog Squeak -- one of my very favourite beings in the world, human, canine or otherwise.

(The visit also included an offer of a lift down to Cornwall with Judith & Martin next Wednesday! Decisions, decisions!)

Desperately wanting a shoe shine, moaning about it this morning to my colleagues, trying to do one myself....and then!  The shoeshine guy comes through our floor saying 'Anyone like a shoe shine today?'   ;D  ;D

found a perfect present for my phil's nephew that he'll just love and it was under £20.
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.
