It may not sound like a pleasure but it was in one of those sweet heartfelt touching moments.  I took DB to Logan last night for him to fly back to the UK.  As we sat in the coffee shop outside of security, he started to cry.  He decided to walk me back to my car where we stood for 15 minutes crying and holding each other.  He told me that I was the "girl that he didn't think really existed" and that he "wants me in England with him for good."   He still felt the same when he called this morning.  He is talking marriage!!  The official proposal hasn't happened yet, but, I think it is coming....

Gosh, I would love to be in Florida for Thanksgiving!  I would just love to be in Florida right now - it wouldn't even have to be Thanksgiving.  I miss FL weather so much!!! :)

Lost my purse today. It fell out of the bottom of the stroller.......I didn't even realize it was gone. Retraced all my steps, which took nearly an hour.....no luck. Phoned the police when I got home reported it lost. This was around four pm. Spent the next four hours crying uncontrollably, because I was planning a trip home for christmas, we were to get the tickets within the next two weeks.....and my passport was in my purse. At eight pm, the police station callled, a twelve or thirteen year old boy had found it, taken it home to his parents, with EVERYTHING intact.....and turned it in. There was only a pound and some change in it, so I wasn't worried about the cash aspect, but the pound was still there! And I still get to plan my trip!! Thank God for honest kids.

Some might not see this as a good thing, but i do!

I just found out we are going to be made to wear uniforms at work from next year... i'm pleased about this cos it will save me a fortune on buying clothes!
Just hope the uniforms aren't too ugly...

Well it's not official yet....but looks like I have a permanent job!!!  It's the job I've been doing as a temp for the past month.  My dream job?  Not really, but it's not a bad job.  It pays more money than the job I didn't get w/the housing association, and I get along fine w/the people here.  Oh, and did I tell you it's permanent?  No more temping!!! :) :) :)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

me too!  my best job was working in the OR at a children's hospital.  I wore scrubs.  I could just fall out of bed and look like crap, go to work and my clothes were clean and ready for me.  No fuss no muss, and no laundry!  I loved it.
