I love wearing scrubs ..I don't like wearing this student nurses uniform... :P it looks too much like the domenstic's uniform so parents ask if I can sweep under their child's bed..they don't really notice that my badge says Student Nurse :-[

My biggest UP this week was finally being finished with my biggest convention of the year and my new boss who'd been giving me so much grief on the lead up to it and who was on-site with me, took me to lunch and said I ran the convention flawlessly!  We had some major issues come up and she said I handled them calmly and with the utmost professionalism.   ;D   Of course I did  ;)  (really was crying in my hotel room at 2am each night, but that's our secret!)

I was also able to take today off and spend the afternoon with my grandmother and then met my mother for an early dinner and a movie, now I'm catching up on here.  Perfect end to the day...oh - AND I leave in 4 weeks for the UK  ;D

Gosh, I would love to be in Florida for Thanksgiving!  I would just love to be in Florida right now - it wouldn't even have to be Thanksgiving.  I miss FL weather so much!!! :)

We go twice a year to visit DH's grandparents & extended family. I will trade you a week in Florida for a week in your neck of the woods.  ;)

Well it's not official yet....but looks like I have a permanent job!!!  It's the job I've been doing as a temp for the past month.  My dream job?  Not really, but it's not a bad job.  It pays more money than the job I didn't get w/the housing association, and I get along fine w/the people here.  Oh, and did I tell you it's permanent?  No more temping!!! :) :) :)

Well done!
Some might not see this as a good thing, but i do!

I just found out we are going to be made to wear uniforms at work from next year... i'm pleased about this cos it will save me a fortune on buying clothes!
Just hope the uniforms aren't too ugly...

I too, love uniforms - it makes it so much easier as I hate dressing up for a job. But I'm a simple gal! ;D

I love uniforms - I love the power that a uniform has.  It amazes me how clothing can change people so much.  We just found out yesterday that we are now going to business casual in our office full time (previously just had it on Fridays).  I am disappointed about it - I probably will still wear suits anyway but might be a bit more creative.  The part I don't like is that it will probably make the atmosphere in the office less professional (which we already have a problem with).

My UP: spending such a nice night with the lovely ladies of UKY yesterday!

Having the best hubby:  I talked him into making the brownies instead of me! :)
