Having people actually bid on the shoes I'm selling on ebay and knowing I'm going to make a decent amount of money for it. Need it for moving and Christmas.

Went to a girlie knit and bi*ch session at a friend's house..the trains were crap back to High barnet so we took a detour to Leicester where we decided to stroll around we picked up Spamalot tickets for my Inlaws and did some light shopping then Jess and I had a chance to chit chat on the bus ride home.

It took us longer to get home but we had fun slow journey back to chit chat :)

Dropped off my rx to the chemist next door and actually chatted with him for the first time.  His dad owned it before him, started his business in 1936!  We chatted about Arizona, since its his favorite place to visit.  Then the girl at the counter mentioned she and her husband had visited SF and loved it.  It was nice to actually have a conversation with someone in the neighborhood.   :)

A good day...

Having a nice chat about football with the Home Office rep before my hearing, and finding him just as friendly in the actual proceedings....

Having an e-mail from a client who got a tricky spousal application from Delhi approved in TWO DAYS!!!!

Aced my job application exercise today!  Now there's just the interview...  I just hope that if I get it, I like my new position as well as I do what I'm doing right now. :)

That's how the light gets in...

Getting a call informing me that the forensics certification class, which I thought was impossible to get into, has just opened up a few more spaces.  I start next week!  ;D

Carolyn, I hope you get it!

I love shopping for Christmas presents and I've found a few that are just perfect for people I love.  The only downfall to Christmas shopping is seeing so many things I would like to have for myself!
